AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE POETRY: An Ode to the Unique beauty of Australia’s natural wonders……
In the dawn’s soft glow, Australia wakes, Where shimmering bushlands meet the sapphire lakes.

Kookaburras laugh through the misty morn, While wallabies bound through the ferns adorned.
The lyrebird mimics in the leafy shade, A symphony of life in a grand parade.
Koalas nap in eucalyptus trees,
And rainbow lorikeets dance in the breeze.
Beneath the canopy where shadows blend, The East Coast whispers secrets to the wind. Platypus glide in rivers, sleek and sly, While the golden sun ascends the sky.

The possums’ eyes twinkle through the night, Guided by the moon’s soft, silver light. Great fronds of ferns in gentle sway, Guard the magic of the wild by day.
The coastline hums with a vibrant beat, Where dolphins play and the waves retreat. In this wild tapestry, so lush and free,
where ancient spirits sleep, This land of vivid dreams and twilight hues.
Nurtures life in its endless, wondrous muse
